Google is rolling out “Digital wellbeing” tool through which users easily monitor their spent on watching videos. This new feature has started moving around the world, Will enable YouTube users to track how much time they have spent today, yesterday and over the past seven days.
The time watched tool can be retrieved by the visiting the YouTube menu.
Apart from the YouTube, Google is similarly evaluating the customer behavior in its different applications like Android and Gmail. As YouTube marked in its blog:
“Our mission is to deliver a new definition of time spent on Youtube without wasting their time, so now you can make informed decisions about how you want YouTube to best fit into your life”
Through which focus on telling people to what extent they spend on utilizing applications is a developing trend through consumer tech. Apple’s has its new Screen Time include, coming to iOS 9 in the fall, which demonstrates how much time you spend utilizing applications every day, and how much times you check your cell phone.
